Child Support Laws by State

Hi, I have several questions, 1st, my oldest daughter has been with me since May, her father still got child support, while we both are fighting over custody of both girls. The oldest totally refuses togo back to dad's because he is abusive Embarassed

he doesn't bother the youngest YET. But question is for the last 5 months that he has received child support for both girls can the amount that was for the one here with me can it go towards back child support from when I was un-employed for 3 months??Any help is needed.
